Second UN Awareness / Job Conference Held in Israel

On October 11th, 2007, IsraAID: The Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid, Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Emergency and Disaster Management program at Tel Aviv University invites the Israeli public to attend the second UN Awareness/Job conference.

The one-day conference will bring together 4 top UN representatives working for various UN agencies among them: The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), World Health Organization (WHO), UN Environment Program (UNEP) and UN Habitat would provide conference participants with practical advise on ways of joining the UN and its humanitarian aid agencies.



DETAILED PROGRAMME IN ENGLISH

The Second Awareness and Recruitment Seminar United Nations Aid Agencies in Israel will take place on Thursday, October 11th, 2007 at Bar Shira Hall (near the building of the Faculty of Social Science), Tel Aviv University between 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm.



1:30pm OPENING

• Dr. Koby Peleg, The Multi-disciplinary Program for Emergency and Disaster Management at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University

• Mr. Rony Adam, Director, the department for UN Political Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
