Israeli business leader support new volunteer program in India

(Tel Aviv) One of Israel's leading business people, Mr. Nochi Dankner, chairperson of IDB is sponsoring a new Israeli initiative aimed at sending young Israelis on 2 month volunteer program to India.

The implementing group behind this unique program is called "Backpackers 4 Peace" (B4P) and is currently calling out to young Israeli backpackers who are traveling to India to join their efforts and help the local community. B4P aims to improve the lives of local communities in Rajastan by offering young enthusiastic Israelis ways to volunteer in local educational and medical institutions.

B4P is currently reaching out to Israelis and Jews asking them to offer themselves to join its first mission which will begin on January 1st, 2009.
