Today an aid group from the Black Hebrew community to leave to Ghana
Ghana, December 12, 2006
(Tel Aviv) Today at midnight a team of seven people from the Black Hebrew ("The Original African Hebrew Israelite Nation of Jerusalem”) community in Dimona will be heading to Ghana for 8 – 12 months.
During their stay in the country the group would assist the local communities by training them on a wide range of development issues among others agriculture, hygiene and education. This program began following the request of the local government and with their support.
About 2,500 members of Black Hebrews led by Ben Ami Carter, live in Israel most of them in Dimona, and the rest in Arad and Miztpe Ramon.
